Even with all the crowds, the Tower of London has an extremely eerie presence about it, especially if you are a history buff and know about all the death and despair that happened in that area. Over the years I have enjoyed watching many television shows and movies about the history and the ghosts of The Tower of London and the Tower Bridge. On a personal family note, I found out my great, great, great, great, great grandmother was baptized in a church that used to be right where the Tower Hotel stands, I stayed there one night (thank you Ancestry.com and old documents). There were several times when I wandered into some dark corridors all alone that I felt an extremely cold breeze followed by goosebumps. It was another amazing experience that I'll never forget and can't wait to go back a 3rd time.
