We don't do a lot of investigations on Sunday nights but we jumped at the chance for Billy's Bar and Grill in Aberdeen, WA. When investigating a bar or late night restaurant, a lot of times they don't close until 1:00 to 3:00 a.m. and the investigation won't even start until 3:00 a.m. which is a very long night. On Sunday nights, Billy's Bar closes at 9:00 p.m., they asked us to come and we did. The investigation consisted of Morgan, Josh, Tammy Lynn, Ross and Me.
There is a little history of a group that investigated it.
So, our experiences for the night. We arrived around 8:15 p.m. (it's about a 2 hour drive from Seattle), we got there early enough to get some dinner. Really delicious place to eat also. We had two of the wait-staff stay there with us. Ross and Morgon conducted interviews, Ross also wanted to ask some questions and hear stories for his book and documentary Haunted Sex. Tammy Lynn and Josh got base readings (temperature, EMF, Carbon Monoxide upstairs (that used to be an old brothel). We also did a little bit of a Live Feed so everyone could see the place. Then I went upstairs with Jordan (one of the wait-staff) and we did our own investigation and EVP session. There weren't a lot of things happening at the time, but there was one time I felt like my upper arm was an ice cube and then it went away just as quickly. Also when I asked for a sign, we heard something that sounded like shifting on some old boxes in storage. I did not get any creepy feelings, felt very calm and welcoming. Jordan had several stories but one was she felt like something pinched her bottom pretty hard. Nothing around her that could have physically done it. So she freaked out a bit.
While Ross and the gang were downstairs investigating, they got some interesting things and had a figure appear off the thermal imaging camera that they can't account for. Still too soon for evidence but it was a fun adventure, I was extremely tired the next day for work, but it was worth it. Billy's bar has some awesome food and amazing stories. I can't wait to go back.
